Description:

Kata Containers runs each container or pod inside a lightweight virtual machine, so workloads get hypervisor isolation while still being driven by containerd or CRI-O. This package builds the Rust runtime (containerd-shim-kata-v2), kata-ctl and the in-guest kata-agent from source, and assembles the guest initrd from the agent and the libraries it links on this system. The guest kernel comes from sys-kernel/kata-guest-kernel and QEMU is the configured hypervisor.
