app-misc/hermes-agent::bentoo
- Ebuilds: 1, Testing: 0.21.5 Description:
Hermes Agent is a terminal AI agent by Nous Research that writes and
refines its own skills from experience, schedules jobs, and can be
reached through messaging gateways. It drives any OpenAI-compatible
model endpoint.
The wrappers in /usr/bin disable runtime pip installs and the
automatic download of the tirith command scanner; extras that are
not packaged report themselves unavailable instead.

app-misc/shidashi::bentoo
- Ebuilds: 1, Testing: 0.1.1 Description:
Shidashi builds the Bentoo images from an official, verified Gentoo
stage3: every stage of the chain (base, minimal, desktop, flavor) is built
in an isolated systemd-nspawn container, the packages it compiles land in
a binhost as binpkgs, and the live ISOs are assembled from that binhost
without compiling anything. The ::gentoo snapshot and the overlays are
pinned, and every run leaves an audit trail.

app-misc/tmux::bentoo
- Ebuilds: 1, Testing: 3.7c Description:
tmux is a "terminal multiplexer", it enables a number of terminals
(or windows) to be accessed and controlled from a single terminal.
tmux is intended to be a simple, modern, BSD-licensed alternative to
programs such as app-misc/screen.

app-misc/watchexec::bentoo
- Ebuilds: 1, Testing: 2.8.0 Description:
watchexec runs a command whenever files in a directory change. It
handles the details that make naive file-watching loops painful:
debouncing bursts of events, respecting .gitignore, and killing or
signalling the previous process before starting the next one, so a
long-running server restarts cleanly instead of piling up.

app-misc/zeo-systray::bentoo
- Ebuilds: 2, Testing: 0.3.0 Description:
zeo-systray is a desktop tray indicator for Claude Code agent sessions.
It shows, at a glance, whether an agent is running, waiting on a
permission decision, finished, or still carrying background work, so the
session does not have to be kept in front of you.
It is fed by Claude Code hooks rather than by any editor, so it covers
every session equally: the ones started in an editor's agent panel and
the ones started in a terminal. Despite the name it does not require the
zeo editor, or any editor. One binary provides both halves: "zeo-systray
notify" runs as the hook, reads the payload on stdin and sends a single
datagram to a socket in XDG_RUNTIME_DIR, always exiting 0 so that a tray
which is not running can never surface as a failure inside an agent turn;
"zeo-systray daemon" draws the icon. The daemon keeps its state in memory
only and writes nothing to disk.
The tray is drawn by speaking StatusNotifierItem over D-Bus directly, with
no GTK and no libappindicator, so it works on KDE Plasma, XFCE, MATE,
Cinnamon, Budgie and LXQt out of the box, under X11 or Wayland alike.
GNOME removed built-in tray support and needs a shell extension such as
AppIndicator Support, which is true of every tray application.
Hook payloads can carry tool inputs, full shell command lines, transcript
paths and assistant text. None of that crosses the socket: only the
session id, the working directory, a project label, the session title and
per-type counters for background tasks, plus the notification text itself
on the Notification event. That boundary is covered by upstream tests.
