Reason: Upstream abandoned. Kagi ended Orion for Linux on 2026-10-02 and ships no further updates, security fixes included; its own advice is not to use the Linux beta as a main browser: https://blog.kagi.com/update-orion-linux-windows The bundled WebKit is therefore frozen at the April 0.3.0 bundle, in a program whose whole job is to render untrusted content. icu-compat and libjxl-compat exist only to satisfy orion-bin's Flatpak ABI; nothing else in the tree depends on them, so they go with it. Kagi promised to open-source the code within 30 days. If that yields a free license and a maintained fork, the way back is a from-source package, not this -bin. Removal on 2026-11-04.

Description:: Installs only the versioned ICU runtime libraries (libicudata, libicui18n and libicuuc) for a single older ABI, so that prebuilt packages which were linked against it keep working on a system carrying a newer dev-libs/icu. Unlike dev-libs/icu, this package keeps upstream's symbol renaming enabled, so its symbols are suffixed with the ICU major version and cannot clash with the system ICU. No headers, pkg-config files or tools are installed, so nothing can build against it by accident.
