Masked for two reasons: it is younger than the 7-day floor for new dependency versions, and net-libs/nodejs (24 and 26) depends on >=dev-libs/simdjson-4.6.1:= with no upper bound, so unmasking it rebuilds every nodejs install against a new ABI (subslot 0/33 -> 0/34) that no nodejs build has been tested against yet. The atom is deliberately unqualified: Portage stamps it "::bentoo", so only this copy is masked and nodejs keeps resolving to ::gentoo's 4.6.x. Lift it once both hold: the date is past 2026-10-05, and net-libs/nodejs (every slot in the tree, --shared-simdjson) builds and passes its tests against 5.x.
