basedpyright is a fork of Pyright, the static type checker for Python, with extra checks and the language-server features that Pylance keeps closed (inlay hints, semantic highlighting, docstrings for compiled builtins, and more). It installs a command-line checker (basedpyright) and a language server (basedpyright-langserver). Compiled from source with core-js removed: upstream's bundle ships @core-js/pure 4.0.0-alpha.1 under a non-commercial, experimental-only licence, and the four polyfills it provided are native in the Node.js this package requires.
