lua-language-server (LuaLS) implements the Language Server Protocol for Lua 5.1 to 5.5 and LuaJIT: completion, go-to-definition, hover, diagnostics, type checking through LuaCATS annotations, formatting and bundled API definitions for common runtimes (LuaJIT, LOVE, OpenResty and others). It is written in Lua and runs on the bee.lua runtime, built here from source with the luamake build tool.
