Qwen Code is Alibaba's terminal coding agent, forked from Google's Gemini CLI and adapted to the Qwen models. Upstream's release bundles its own Node.js runtime. This package discards it and runs on net-libs/nodejs instead, which cuts roughly two thirds of the installed size and avoids carrying a second Node that nothing else on the system would update.
