Reason: KDE Plasma 6.8 beta 2 (6.7.91), opt-in only. Plasma numbers the next series' betas x.y.90 / x.y.91, so every atom below is a pre-release of 6.8. The ebuilds come from the Gentoo KDE team's overlay (github.com/gentoo/kde, 97636d8), which masks the same set as UNRELEASED. bentoo changes nothing but the # BENTOO-DIVERGENCE: comment tags that gentoo-parity.sh reads. The family is all-or-nothing. Each ebuild asks for its siblings at >=${KDE_CATV}, i.e. >=6.7.91, so unmasking one package without the rest leaves an atom nothing satisfies -- the failure that broke spectacle in e2695dfeb. To opt in, copy the atoms below verbatim into /etc/portage/package.unmask/plasma-6.8-beta (a stable-keyword system also needs them in package.accept_keywords). kwin-x11, kgamma, wacomtablet and plasma-login-sessions have no 6.7.91: the 6.8 series drops them, and ::gentoo still carries their 6.7.x. The last one is a hard block (plasma-login-manager-6.7.91 has !kde-plasma/plasma-login- sessions), so remove it first; the other three stay on 6.7.x built against 6.8 libraries, which upstream no longer tests. The atoms are deliberately unqualified: Portage stamps them "::bentoo", which is where these ebuilds live, and ::gentoo has no 6.7.91 to mask. Remove this block together with every 6.7.91 ebuild once ::gentoo ships 6.8.0. From then on a copy here is REDUNDANT (gentoo-parity.sh says so), and 6.8.0 already outranks 6.7.91 for everyone who unmasked it.
