nuclei scans targets for known vulnerabilities and misconfigurations using templates written in a declarative YAML DSL, rather than hardcoded checks. Because the detection logic lives in the templates, the community catalogue can cover a new CVE without a new release of the scanner. Templates are not installed by this package; fetch them with `nuclei -update-templates`.
