Description:

TorchCodec decodes and encodes video, audio and images straight into PyTorch tensors, using the system FFmpeg (4 through 9). Since torchaudio 2.9 it is the backend behind torchaudio.load() and torchaudio.save(). This build links the system FFmpeg and image libraries instead of the S3-hosted copies upstream's wheels bundle; AVIF stays disabled for that reason, since upstream offers no way to use a system libavif.
