Reason: Slop package. The old versions bundle a very old fork of app-i18n/uchardet. The new ones require app-i18n/uchardet from git that suffers from regressions (and upstream slop-patched them anyway). The only revdep supports fallback to dev-python/chardet and dev-python/charset-normalizer (both are also slop nowadays, but we're stuck with them anyway), and uses a || dep. Removal on 2026-09-03. Bug #980354.
