Install this package:
emerge -a x11-misc/virtualgl
If the package is masked, you can unmask it using the autounmask tool or standard emerge options:
autounmask x11-misc/virtualgl
Or alternatively:
emerge --autounmask-write -a x11-misc/virtualgl
