x11-themes/obsidian-xcursors::vowstar
- Ebuilds: 1, Testing: 1.0 Description:
Obsidian is a shiny black cursor theme with a soft drop shadow, drawn in
2007 for KDE and still used on GNOME. The artwork fills 54% to 71% of
its 48x48 canvas and the tarball ships that single nominal size, so the
theme draws smaller than the others at the same cursor-size. This build
fits every glyph to 96% of its canvas and generates 24, 30, 36 and 48
pixel cursors, and it adds the cursor names GTK, Qt and Mutter look up,
which the X11 names of the original build script do not cover.

x11-themes/obsidian2-gtk-theme::vowstar
- Ebuilds: 2, Testing: 2.25, Snapshot: 9999 Description:
Obsidian 2 is a modern and intuitive dark GTK theme designed specifically
for GNOME desktop environments. Built upon the foundation of the
Adwaita-Maia dark skin, this theme provides a sleek, professional
appearance with carefully crafted visual elements that enhance the user
interface experience. It is fully compatible with GTK 3.22 and later
versions, including GNOME 49, with continuous improvements for both GTK3
and GTK4 applications. The theme features polished widgets, refined color
schemes, and smooth transitions that create a cohesive desktop environment.
For users running older systems with GTK 3.18 or Cinnamon 3.2 and below,
the predecessor Obsidian 1 theme is available as an alternative. This
actively maintained project ensures ongoing compatibility with the latest
GNOME releases while preserving the distinctive dark aesthetic that makes
Obsidian 2 popular among Linux desktop enthusiasts.
