OpenShot Audio Library (libopenshot-audio) is the audio engine behind
the OpenShot video editor. It is a curated subset of the JUCE
framework (audio basics, devices, formats, core, data structures, DSP
and events) packaged as a standalone shared library, exporting the
CMake target OpenShot::Audio that media-libs/libopenshot links
against. It provides audio device I/O, sample-rate conversion,
resampling, mixing, buffering and decoding of common audio formats, so
that the video pipeline can play back and render synchronized audio.
On Linux it drives ALSA. A small demo player, openshot-audio-demo, is
installed as a smoke test for the library. The JUCE sources are
vendored upstream in JuceLibraryCode/ and are built from that bundled
copy: JUCE is consumed as source modules by design and there is no
system JUCE this library can be built against.
